 A tremor of extent 5.2 struck at 79 kilometers southeast (SE) of Fayzabad, Afghanistan on Sunday morning, according to India's Public Community for Seismology. The focal point was at a profundity of 220 kilometers under the world's surface.

As per fundamental data shared by European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the tremor was accounted for to be of extent 5.9 was felt 70 km east-southeast of Fayzabad, Afghanistan.
