Last week, fellow benefactor and previous lyricist of the musical gang Pink Floyd, Roger Waters, drew fire for wearing a 'Nazi-style uniform' at a show in Berlin.
According to the nearby media reports, Waters performed at Germany's Mercedes-Benz Field on May 17, where the words, "The show will begin shortly and a court in Frankfurt has decided that I am not a racist, just honestly, I denounce discrimination against Jews energetically," were projected on a screen.
On Friday (26 May), Berlin police made an announcement saying that they were examining Waters for prompting to disdain.
According to the pictures flowed via web-based entertainment, Waters should have been visible wearing a long, dark coat with red armbands in front of an audience at the Mercedes-Benz field the week before.
"We are examining on doubt of actuation to public contempt on the grounds that the apparel worn in front of an audience could be utilized to used to praise or legitimize Nazi rule, subsequently upsetting the public harmony," police representative Martin Halweg told AFP, affirming a prior report by Jewish News.
"The dress looks like the attire of a SS official," Halweg added.
Waters is known to be a favorable to Palestinian extremist and has likewise been censured for having hostile to Jewish viewpoints.
Lately, the vocalist has acted in a few German urban communities as a component of his "This Isn't A Drill" visit.
The singer has denied the counter Semitism judgments contending that he was showing against Israeli approaches and not the Jewish public.
According to AFP reports, at the dubious Berlin show, Waters streaked the names of a few departed individuals on a huge screen, including that of Anne Plain, the Jewish youngster who kicked the bucket in a Nazi death camp
